Akademi Bilgisayar Yazılım Otomasyon ve Danışmanlık A.Ş. was established in 1997 to offer corporate services based on information technologies. The Company's fields of operation cover "flexible" products and services geared primarily at insurance companies, and establishments engaged in the financial services sector.

Strategically focusing on health insurance, life insurance and private pension solutions on the basis of sectoral solutions, Akademi furnishes "electronic business environments" to enable its clients to act more competitively under the variable conditions of domestic and foreign markets.

Akademi is built upon the knowledge and experience gained in Health and Life Insurance branches by its founders, each enjoying valuable experience as EDP Directors in the insurance sector for over a decade. Basing its work on the care and ability to foresee the challenges, time optimization and all other needs that insurance companies are faced with, Akademi has successfully vested "added value" in all the solutions and products it has produced.

By virtue of the Law numbered 4632 enacted in 2001, Akademi added solutions directed at Private Pension Companies to its broad array of products. Private Pension Solution of Akademi meets "all the requirements" of Private Pension Savings and Investment System with regard to legal framework. This system has various horizontal and vertical applications in the insurance industry.

Having earned itself a respectable status in the insurance sector built upon the successful applications it has developed, the broad base of knowledge Akademi enjoys is also acknowledged by the Directorate of Private Pension Bureau of the Treasury Undersecretariat. Akademi is "actively" involved in the discussions regarding regulations and communiqués designed to give a concrete form to the framework drawn by the law, and in related sectoral task forces.

Akademi has been a participation of Probil since 2002. Akademi is the initiator of Probil's choosing the insurance sector as a strategic sector by its success stories and added value. Akademi became the leader in the insurance solutions business after the projects that were done with Probil.

Akademi also performed the unique application in the Electronic Control and Audit area by the project for the EGM-founded to control and audit the pension firms- with Probil.

After the decision in 2004, Akademi started to make investment in order to produce solutions in Property and Casualty Insurance sector. By the help of this new solution, Akademi takes a giant step forward for the transformation of the its Technologic Platform.
